New Releases to Watch: March 2021
by Donna Soluri
The New Release List for March is an incredibly long and diverse mountain to add to your TBR pile! I painstakingly culled it down to a few that might pique your interest. Let me know which ones you’re reading in the comments section below!
Just a couple of quick reminders before we get started!
1) If you see a heart next to the title (or above it on mobile), then you’re looking at one of the books I have already read and am recommending you add to your TBR immediately—or straight to your e-reader if that’s how you roll!
2) I won’t be focusing on Book+Main Authors exclusively, however, if they do have a Book+Main profile, I’ll be sharing that information with you in the form of a handy dandy button. Make sure to hit the button to follow them so you can enjoy everything they have to offer!
I’ve been a fan of Roni Loren’s books for years now and her latest contemporary romance does not disappoint. Miz Poppy is a New Orleans favorite. She anonymously reviews the nightlife which we all know is a whole lot of fun in NOLA — everyone loves her but no one knows who she is. Her fears and anxiety have kept her out of the public eye. All is well until her editor demands she add a new element to her reviews, the dreaded video! Aspiring actor and full time barista, Jasper senses a golden opportunity to get his foot in the entertainment door when he realizes his daily coffee customer is none other than Hollyn, the real woman behind Miz Poppy. Teaching her how to feel comfortable in front of the camera is right in his wheelhouse — now they just have to sort out these pesky feelings.
Watch for my review of Yes & I Love You very soon!

Release Date: March 2, 2021
A rom com featuring a Muslim woman who fakes an engagement to the guy next door in hopes of winning a couples cooking contest. Said fella next door has the body of Captain America, a British accent and is mouthwatering perfection, except for the fact that her meddling parents are setting them up! This unwanted side dish of parental interference is rule number one in Reena’s list of men she won’t date. Since Nadim works for her father, Reena absolutely will not notice his lopsided smile or his sweet charm — nope, not going to happen. But, unfortunately, she really does need a cooking partner. Seriously, what could possibly go wrong?!!?
Sometimes a one night stand goes sideways, especially when feelings happen. This would be fine for pretty much any other man in the world, except for Sebastian Hunter. He just happens to be the President of the United States. Want to feel the heat?

Friends-to-lovers, fake relationship, single dad, it’s all in there! Carlton thinks his bachelor days are back when, after a year of playing dad to his nephew, the kid finally heads off to college. All is well until his teenaged niece shows up in need of a forever home. Social Services prefers a couple as adoptive parents, so Carlton enlists the aid of his long-time and long-suffering best friend Deion. Deion’s heart is on the line here because he has been pining away for Carlton for quite a while now. Complications befall the charade, and more than one heart might end up broken if Carlton can’t figure out if playing house is more real than pretend.
The first book in Samantha Chase’s new Meet Me at the Altar series tells the story of Elliott and Skylar. Elliott is so in love with being in love he’s pretty much a walking romantic disaster. After four failed engagements, his friends and family are putting him on a year-long woman hiatus. Enter Skylar, his sister’s best friend who agrees to help keep him on track. Did I mention she’s been crushing on Elliot for as long as she’s known him? Elliott is finally realizing the actual love of his life has been right in front of him all along, now about that embargo…
The premise behind Tawna Fenske’s Juniper Ridge series is a doozy — and that’s a good thing. When a famous Hollywood family decides to create the ultimate social experiment-slash-reality TV show on the site of an abandoned cult compound, sparks are bound to fly. And that’s definitely the case for former celebrity psychologist Dr. Mari Judson and the compound’s new brewmaster and sexy single dad, Griffin Walsh. Except the series premise isn’t the only doozy here — because Mari’s got a secret that makes exploring a relationship more than difficult. Impossible, in fact. If only they could put a stopper in what’s brewing between them…
Look out for Beth’s review of Let It Show later this month!
Who would believe a random delivery of chickens could bring two lonely souls together? A bookworm on borrowed time, Harrison should absolutely not get involved with a free-spirited chicken farmer named Finn. The city slicker and the country boy would be wise to steer clear of each other but romantic sparks and feathers, of course, fly. Learning to trust and taking a leap of faith are must haves for this opposites attract, age gap, low-angst romance.

Release Date: March 23, 2021
Dale Steel has fallen in love with his intern, the very off-limits and forbidden Ashley White. His feelings for her have stirred something dark he’s kept buried for years — he’s no good for her. Ashley has other plans and she’s determined to make Dale realize he deserves her love. The seventeenth book (!!) in the Steel Brothers Saga is a must read.
Things I love in life: 1) Laura Kaye and 2) Her Warrior Fight Club series! I did an actual happy dance in my kitchen when this book made its way onto my radar. I’ve missed this series so much and I’m so excited to get Sean Riddick and Daniela England’s story. To refresh, the Warrior Fight Club is a type of therapy for people suffering from PTSD, brain trauma injuries and other mental health issues like survivor’s guilt. Daniela is a real ball-buster, filled to the brim with sarcasm. She drives Sean bonkers for all of the right reasons, specifically that one-night-stand he can’t seem to wipe from his dreams. When a motorcycle accident leaves Sean in need of a personal nurse, good thing that’s what Daniela is trained for. Let the smoldering red-hot passion, a Laura Kaye specialty, begin!
Two powerhouse authors for the price of one! Let the hilarity ensue! Honestly, the blurb sets the story up better than I can…
Ever have one of those days where life just plain sucks? Welcome to my last three months—ever since I caught my can’t-be-soon-enough ex-husband cheating with his paralegal. I’m thirty-five years old, and I’ve lost my NYC apartment, my job, my money, and frankly, my dignity.
But the final heartache in the suck sandwich of my life? My great-aunt Maggie died. The only family member who’s ever gotten me.
Even after death, though, she’s helping me get back up. She’s willed me the keys to a house in the burbs, of all places, and dared me to grab life by the family jewels. Well, I’ve got the vise grips already in hand (my ex should take note) and I’m ready to fight for my life again.
Too bad that bravado only lasts as long as it takes to drive into Huckleberry Hills. And see the house.
There are forty-seven separate HOA violations, and I feel them all in my bones. Honestly, I’m surprised no one’s “accidentally” torched the house yet. I want to, and I’ve only been standing in front of it for five minutes. But then my hot, grumpy neighbor tells me to mow the lawn first and I’m just…done. Done with men too sexy for their own good and done with anyone telling me what to do.
First rule of surviving the burbs? There is nothing that YouTube and a glass of wine can’t conquer.
Author: A.J. Pine
Release Date: March 30, 2021
The Meadow Valley series by A.J. Pine returns with an older woman-younger man dynamic and a classic romance trope: it’s just a fling. Fans of this series might recognize Jenna Owens as the aunt of the Everett brothers from Pine’s Crossroads Ranch series, who stepped in to help raise them and has been a steadying and loving influence in their lives. Now they’ve found love, all Jenna wants is a quiet weekend away to celebrate her milestone 40th birthday…and maybe a fairytale ending of her own. Except there’s a storm brewing and it’s going to leave her stranded with a handsome younger cowboy who has no interest in forever — and feelings she never expected to catch.
Watch for Beth’s review of Only a Cowboy Will Do toward the end of the month!
Author: Michelle Major
Release Date: March 30, 2021
I’m a sucker for a book set in my home state of North Carolina. I’m also a sucker for Major’s Magnolia Sisters series so reading the last book in the trilogy is on my must do list! Meredith is a fixer in the family. She can spot a wounded creature from a mile away. Her too-sexy neighbor is carrying around some deep hurt and fixing Ryan is catnip for Meredith’s soul. Ryan’s stint in the small town is only temporary, he’s there to recover from a painful injury to his leg and he’s hoping to get past the guilt from the tragedy he’s trying so hard to forget. Can this extremely quirky small town heal his leg and his soul?
