THE BEST PLACE TO FIND ROMANCE NOVELS ONLINE

Weekly New Releases: May 10

by Beth Cranford

Being a romance reader comes with many perks. Chief among which is the sheer number of books we get to look forward to every single week. But there’s a downside to all that choice: the decision paralysis that comes with trying to pinpoint exactly where to start. And, seeing as we are in the business of books—specifically romance books—it seemed wise to take the time to sort through the pile and try to bring some organization to it. For you, of course. This is a purely altruistic act. So, read on to see what books are on offer this week, and what tropes and subgenres they belong to!

Need more books? (Silly question, right? We ALWAYS need more books!) Check out our Summer Reads Round-Up, and our Tribute to Cowboys to see what we’re excited for and love!

FEATURED NEW RELEASES

Jessica Prince kicks off her new Whiskey Dolls series with this all the feels romance featuring a strong, likable heroine (we stan strong heroines!) and an ice-cold man who is maybe not so ice-cold after all. Oh, and he’s a single dad, so hold onto your ovaries, my friends. I’ve loved every book I’ve read by Prince — and I’ve read quite a few — so I can’t wait for this one to land on my Kindle.

From the creative minds of not one but two bestselling authors, this royalty romance is sure to be a big hit. And why not? A princess who wants to be anything but, her reluctant bodyguard, and an absolute truckload of red-hot chemistry, regrets, heart-pounding suspense, and a mysterious threat sound like just the right mix to keep us all on the edge of our seats!

Kelly Jamieson has been an auto-buy author for me for several years, and she is at her absolute best when writing hockey. This third book in her Bears story sees a hard-working-but-not-a-star hockey player in need of a new agent, stat. And that agent? An up-and-coming woman fighting for a career in a man’s world. Oh, and did I mention they’ve already seen each other naked?

Picking up a Kathryn Nolan book is a guaranteed good time, IMHO, especially when she leans into romantic suspense. (If you haven’t read her Codex series, you MUST!) This second chance romance sees Serena, a pro surfer, paired with a sexy new bodyguard as they uncover a threat that leaves her in real danger — a bodyguard who happens to be her not-quite-ex-husband…

About Beth

Beth Cranford was born and raised in Australia, but followed her heart (and her husband) to the United States in her late 20s. As the mother of two kids, she’s learned that you can turn anything into a song and that slime does not belong in carpeted areas (or polite society). You can most often find her with her Kindle in hand, listening to Taylor Swift on repeat, or spending way too many hours playing Animal Crossing.
